I recently finished preaching the most difficult pair of sermons I've ever done. The Doctrine of Eternal Hell was a 2-part series, the outline of which is shown below. It is not pleasant in any way to think about it, but Jesus spoke about it a lot (more than He did heaven), so we must take heed to God's Word on this painful subject.
At the risk of sounding self-promoting (which is not my intent), I would encourage you to consider downloading the mp3 files and listening to them here: part 1, part 2. (You can also get the full 3-page outline in .pdf format, with sub-points and notes, on the same page as the audio.)
Short outline for 2-part series on Hell:
I. The Rejection of hell
II. Reservations about the doctrine of hell
III. The Requisiteness of hell
IV. The Road to hell
V. The Residents of hell
VI. The Realities of hell
VII. The Response of the Christian to the doctrine of hell
VIII.The Rescue of the non-Christian from hell
IX. The Requirement for the unsure, the almost-Christian, and the fence-sitter
